Apple - yesterday and today

Let's have a look at one of the most important and successful brands ever - Apple.
Today they offer elegant and powerful mp3 players (the iPod), state of the art mobile phones and slick personal computers and laptops. But... this big company had to start small... some time ago...
The first product they marketed was the Apple 1. This personal computer was designed and hand-built by Steve Wozniak and went on sale in July 1976 - Steve Jobs, a friend of Wozniak had the idea to produce and sell it. I really don't know who on earth would buy for $666.66 a printed circuit board, a bag of parts and a 16-page assembly manual. The user had to provide his or her own keyboard, power supply and monitor. Despite this, people bought it enough to raise funds to start Apple Computer.
