Food generator wins first prize in Electrolux's contest

A housewife's dream, as taken out of a SF movie (remember... the food replicator from Star Trek?!) - the cooker that "grows" meat and fish. The invention is real and it won first prize in Electrolux's design competition. It is said to be able to heat animal cells and turn them into genuine food. Rickard Hederstierna is the Swedish inventor behind this controversial gadget. He claims that the Cocoon will bring an end to world hunger, no more animals need to be harmed in order to obtain meat.
