Holograms that can sense your touch

Holograms appear in almost any "into the future" movies. There's well known the fact that people have managed to create real holograms, but up until now they didn't serve any purpose. A bunch of Japanese scientists have developed a way to make holograms sensitive to touch. Well, you can't really touch them, but you get what I mean... To create the software necessary the scientists used ultrasonic waves and, surprisingly, Wii controllers. The holograms are first to be used for medical purposes.
