Frontier is an interesting game. At first it strikes you as an economy based game. You are a trader who buys merchandise from one village and sells it into another one, with higher price. However, that's only the beginning. Travelling between cities is a mini-game (almost the entire game) in which you encounter different people. Some are friendly, others will attack you and others can be attacked by you. Your overall interaction with others modifies your fame. If you help strangers and stay out of fights you will be trusted more. To travell easier and safer there are a few means of transportation to buy and henchmen to hire. When you feel strong enough you can choose to complete one of two sets of missions: the Enforcers' missions or the Buccaneers'.

+ interesting combination of strategy and economics
+ RPG-like

- some bugs
- travelling between cities can take a long while

Play it on ArmorGames
