This might sound as the childhood story you all know, but the game keeps only the main plot of the tale. You are Gretel, the young girl who overhears her parents plotting to get rid of her and her brother. You decide to take matters in your own hands and start point-and-clicking to gather pebbles. There are puzzles to be solved and dangers are all around you. The game has a dark sense of humor (you can die by obsessively kissing a dying crow) and wonderful graphics. Everything was hand painted and scanned, something very rare nowadays. The game is a bit too short, but it's definitely worth while.
+ hand painted graphics
+ dark humour
+ logical puzzles
- too short

Q: What is this site about? A: At first it held sketches; After that it mutated into "Retro Source - the place you'll find information, images, music and links to all kinds of resources considered to be retro"; And now... It's about games, (indie or flash mostly), gadgets, chiptunes, pixelart...
