Ubuntu 9.10

Ubuntu, probably the most popular Linux distribution, is getting out of beta - the new version is 9.10. It will launch in 4 days and it's codename is Karmic Koala. As usually, this release comes 6 months after the previous one, Jaunty Jackalope. New features in Ubuntu 9.10 include: new Intel video driver architecture, ext4 by default, GRUB 2 by default and, of course, the newest stable kernel and Gnome version.
